DESCRIPTION:The Korean Association of Trade and Industry Studies (KATIS) is pleased to announce the 2024 International Conference, scheduled for July 3 (Wednesday) at Seoul National University.\nWe cordially invite KAEA members to submit papers for presentation at the conference. The conference welcomes theoretical and empirical papers on topics aligned with this year’s theme, “Global Value Chain and Spatial Economics”.\nThe keynote speakers will be:\nKei-Mu Yi (University of Houston & the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas)\nThomas Holmes (University of Minnesota)\nTo be considered for inclusion in the conference program, papers must be submitted to Seunghoon Lee (seunghoonlee@yonsei.ac.kr ( mailto:seunghoonlee@yonsei.ac.kr )) no later than April 30 (Tuesday). We will notify you of the acceptance decision by early May. While both manuscripts and extended abstracts are acceptable, preference will be given to full paper submissions.\nTo support presenters from outside of Korea, we will provide an honorarium of one million Korean won to assist with travel expenses.
