DESCRIPTION:\nDate: December 21, 2023\nVenue: Hotel Lahan, Gyeongju, Korea (In Person Only)\nSubmission Deadline: September 3, 2023 (11:59 PM EDT)\n\nThe 2023 Gyeongju Economic Forum will be held on December 21 in Gyeongju, Korea.\nOn behalf of the local organizers, KAEA is soliciting high-quality research papers that suit the theme of the forum, “Economic Growth by Decentralization.” The local organizers are especially interested in papers that relate to “the promotion of balanced economic growth across cities/regions under a federal system, through macroeconomic, education, infrastructure, and R&D promotion policy” in a broad sense.\nTwo papers will be selected. Each presenter will be reimbursed up to USD 3,000 of airfare, in addition to two nights’ accommodation at the conference hotel. All submitted papers will be reviewed by anonymous referees. Only complete manuscripts will be considered. At the request of the local organizers, we can only give a tight submission deadline, 11:59 PM EDT on September 3, 2023.
