DESCRIPTION:2023 KIF-KAEA-KAFA Symposium\n\n\nDate: 9 AM-1 PM KST on June 5, 2023 (8 PM-Midnight on June 4 EDT)\n\nVenue: Remote on Zoom\n\nSubmission Deadline: April 30, 2023  \n\nThe annual symposium jointly sponsored by Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA),\nKorea Institute of Finance (KIF), and Korea-America Finance Association (KAFA) will be held\nonline on June 5, 2023, 9 AM-1 PM KST (8 PM-Midnight on June 4 EDT).\nKAEA is soliciting high-quality research papers on public finance, monetary policy, macro-\nfinance, financial/capital markets, banking, and financial regulation. KIF will provide three\npresenters with an honorarium of KRW 1 million each for virtual presentation. Accepted manuscripts will\nbe published as KIF working papers, but authors are free to publish them in academic journals later.\nTo be considered, a full manuscript should be submitted. Please declare your KAEA membership status with your submission.** All submissions should be sent to the KAEA organizer, Yongseok Shin, by email at kaea.tr@outlook.com with “KIF-KAEA-KAFA Submission” in the subject line, no later than Sunday, April 30th. KIF will make the selection, and acceptance decisions will be made by May 15th. Only the authors of accepted papers will be notified by email.\n**You must be a KAEA lifetime member or have been an annual member for two years (2022 and 2023) to submit a manuscript. Your membership status will be reviewed before an acceptance decision is made and no exceptions will be made regarding the membership policy.\n
