SUMMARY:Call for Papers: 2023 WEAI-KAEA Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The 98th Annual Conference of the Western Economic Association International (WEAI) will be held on July 1–6 in Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. Fully virtual sessions will be held on July 1st via Zoom, and the fully in-person program begins on July 2nd.\nThe Korea‐America Economic Association (KAEA) will organize two or three sessions at this conference. We invite members of KAEA or KEA to participate. Theoretical and empirical papers on all aspects of economics are welcome. Please submit a manuscript or an extended abstract to Vice President Yongseok Shin by email kaea.tr@outlook.com ( mailto:kaea.tr@outlook.com ).\nPlease specify in your email:\n(i) JEL code(s) and keywords\n(ii) Your preferred modality: (1) In-person only; (2) Virtual only; (3) In-person or virtual\n(iii) Your membership status with the KAEA or the KEA\nSubmission deadline is Wednesday, February 1. There is no submission fee for members of KAEA or KEA. In addition, the session participants can register at the WEAI member’s rate regardless of their WEAI membership status. However, all participants will be required to register for the conference and responsible for their own expenses.\nSubmitted papers will be reviewed by referees. Only submitters of accepted papers will be notified. All presenters are strongly encouraged to serve as discussants for the WEAI-KAEA sessions.
