DESCRIPTION:The 2021 KIF-KAEA-KAFA Conference\nJune 10 (June 9, US Time Zone), 2021\nCall for Papers\nThe annual conference jointly sponsored by the Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA), Korea Institute of Finance (KIF), and Korea-America Finance Association (KAFA) will be held ONLINE on June 10, 2021 (evening of June 9, Wednesday, US Time Zone) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.\nThe KAEA is soliciting high quality research papers on public finance, monetary policy, macro-finance, financial/capital markets, banking, and financial regulation. KIF will provide two presenters an honorarium of up to KRW 1 million for virtual presentation. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by anonymous referees. Accepted manuscripts will be published as KIF working papers. Authors will be permitted to publish the manuscript later at a journal.\nThe deadline to submit a manuscript is Wednesday, April 23.  Submissions should be emailed to KAEA VP Hyeongwoo Kim (gmmkim@gmail.com ( mailto:gmmkim@gmail.com )). We strongly welcome submissions from junior scholars. All submitted papers will be reviewed by anonymous referees. Acceptance decisions will be made by April 30, and only the authors of accepted papers will be notified by email.\nYou must be a KAEA lifetime member or have been an annual member for the last two years (2020 and 2021) to submit a manuscript. Your membership status will be verified before your submission is reviewed. No exception will be made regarding this membership policy.
