SUMMARY:Call for Papers (KAEA-KEA Joint International Conference 2017)
DESCRIPTION:The 18th International Conference sponsored jointly by the Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA) and the Korean Economic Association (KEA) will be held on July 13-15, 2017, at Korea University in Seoul, Korea. This joint international conference has been held every other year, but we expect to have the conference annually from this year on.  For this year, the conference will be organized jointly with the Asia-Pacific Economic Association (APEA).\nThe KAEA is soliciting a broad range of topics in economics and related areas. The KEA will provide financial support to each presenter of accepted papers to cover the travel expenses (partial or full) up to KRW 2,000,000 and hotel accommodation for two nights.\nThe deadline to submit a manuscript or abstract (200-300 words) is Friday, March 31, 2017. Submissions should include JEL codes. Submissions are to be made by e-mail addressed to Vice President Inhyuck “Steve” Ha (iha@wcu.edu ( mailto:iha@wcu.edu )). Abstracts of papers, without the full manuscript, will be considered, but preference will be given to full manuscripts. All submitted papers will be reviewed by anonymous referees selected by the KAEA and the KEA. Acceptance decisions will be made by April 15, and the authors will be notified by email.\nYou must be a KAEA lifetime member or have been an annual member for the previous two years (2016 and 2017) to submit a manuscript. Due to the expected high volume of submissions, your membership status will be reviewed before an acceptance decision is made. No exceptions will be made regarding the membership policy. Young scholars are strongly encouraged to submit a manuscript.\n
