DESCRIPTION:Call for Papers for 2016 Joint KDI-KAEA Conference\n\nDate: August 10, 2016\nTheme: Recent Issues in Economics and Economic Policies\nVenue: Korea Development Institute, Sejong City, Korea\nSubmission Deadline:  March 31, 2016\n\nWe solicit research papers for the joint conference of KAEA and KDI. This year we welcome papers from all fields of economics.  Papers with strong policy implications are favored.\nA submission will be accepted only if it is a complete paper with (i) an abstract of 200-300 words, (ii) 3-5 keywords, and (iii) JEL code(s) on the title page. Submissions should be sent to Vice President Yoosoon Chang via email at yoosoon@indiana.edu ( mailto:yoosoon@indiana.edu?subject=KDI-KAEA%20Joint%20Conference ) with KAEA-KDI joint conference in the subject line of the email.  All submitted papers will be reviewed by the anonymous review committee selected by the KAEA and the KDI. To be considered for inclusion in the conference program, all papers must be submitted by March 31. Acceptance decision should be made by April 15, and the authors will be notified by email.\nEach selected paper will be awarded an honorarium by KDI for travel support.  In addition, accommodation at Lotte City Hotels Daejeon for one night per paper will be provided to the paper presenters.\nIf you like to submit your paper also for publication at the KDI Journal of Economic Policy published by KDI, please indicate it in the email. The papers submitted to the KDI Journal of Economic Policy will have priorities for the conference (subject to review). The papers accepted for publication in the KDI Journal of Economic Policy will be awarded an additional honorarium by KDI (at a competitive rate).\nSubmissions will be accepted only from the lifetime KAEA members or those who have paid the KAEA membership dues for both 2015 and 2016 prior to the paper submission.\n
