DESCRIPTION:The 2016 Annual KAEA-KAFA-KIF Joint Conference\n\nMain Theme: Global Divergences and Financial Markets • Conference date: May 30, 2016 • Venue: Korea Institute of Finance (KIF), Seoul, Korea • Submission Deadline: March 20, 2016\n\nThe annual joint conference of the KAEA (Korea-America Economic Association) with the KIF (Korea Institute of Finance, 금융연구원) and the KAFA (Korea-America Finance Association) will be held as a one-day conference on May 30, 2016 at the KIF in Seoul, Korea. While the main theme for this year’s conference is “Global Divergences and Financial Markets,” papers dealing with general issues in monetary policies, macro-finance, financial/capital markets, and banking industry and regulations are also welcome.\nEach paper presented at the conference will be awarded an honorarium by the KIF for travel support.\nA submission will be accepted only if it is a complete paper with (i) an abstract of 300-400 words, (ii) 3-5 keywords, and (iii) JEL code(s) on the first page. Please send your submission or inquiries to Vice President Yoosoon Chang via email at yoosoon@indiana.edu ( mailto:yoosoon@indiana.edu?subject=KAEA-KAFA-KIF%20Joint%20Conference ). All submitted papers will be reviewed by the anonymous referees selected by the KAEA, the KAFA and the KIF. Submissions from young scholars are strongly encouraged.\nTo be considered for inclusion in the conference program, all papers must be submitted by March 20. Acceptance decision should be made by April 15, and the authors will be notified by email.\nPlease note that submissions will be accepted only from the lifetime KAEA members or those who have paid the KAEA membership dues for both 2015 and 2016 prior to the paper submission.\n \n
