DESCRIPTION:Call for Papers/Participation\n\nKAEA Job Market Conference (November 18-19, 7:00PM-10:30PM EST)\n(November 19-20, 9:00AM-12:30PM KST)\nhttps://editorialexpress.com/conference/KAEA2024/\nDear KAEA Members,\nOne important mission of the Korea-America Economic Association is to support graduate students who are working hard toward their academic goals.\nFor this purpose, we are organizing a virtual conference for Ph.D. students who will be on the job market this year.\nPlease spread the word to your colleagues and students and encourage them to participate.\nSelected presenters will be given best job market paper awards and a modest honorarium.\n\nKAEA Job Market Conference\nJob market candidates need to practice presenting their work. To help their preparation, KAEA is organizing an online job market conference on two days, November 18-19 (Monday/Tuesday), 7:00-10:30PM EST, 2024.\nThose who will be in the 2024-2025 job market can participate in the conference. Three broadly defined sessions will be organized: Micro, Macro, and Econometrics. Each session consists of several parallel sub-sessions depending on the number of participants.\nIn addition, there will be a Q&A session with recent PhD graduates as panelists. They will answer any questions that participants may have regarding the job market process and share their experiences. All (including non-job market candidates) are welcome to attend this great mentoring opportunity.\n\nRegistration deadline: November 5, 2024.
