[Call for Papers/Participation] KAEA Job Market Conference 2025 (November 19-20, 7-10:30pm ET)
KAEA Job Market Conference 2025 (November 19-20, 7:00PM-10:30PM EST)
(November 20-21, 9:00AM-12:30PM KST)
Dear KAEA Members,
One important mission of the Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA) is to support graduate students who are working hard toward their academic goals. To this end, we are organizing a virtual job market conference for Ph.D. students who will be on the job market this year. Please spread the word to your colleagues and students and encourage them to participate. Selected presenters will be given best job market paper awards and a modest honorarium.
KAEA Job Market Conference
Job market candidates need opportunities to practice presenting their research. To help with this preparation, KAEA is organizing an online job market conference on November 19-20 (Wednesday-Thursday), 2025, from 7:00 to 10:30pm ET. Those who will be in the 2025-2026 job market can participate in the conference. Three broadly defined sessions will be organized: Micro, Macro, and Econometrics. Each session consists of several parallel sub-sessions depending on the number of participants.
In addition, there will be a Q&A session with recent PhD graduates as panelists. They will answer questions about the job market process and share their experiences. All (including non-job market candidates) are welcome to attend this great mentoring opportunity.
• Registration deadline: Nov 3, 2025. The submission portal via Conference Maker will open soon at https://editorialexpress.com/conference/KAEA2025/ and the registration will close on November 3, 2025.
- Membership requirement: A valid 2025 annual or lifetime KAEA membership is required for presenters. Membership is not required for those attending the conference or Q&A session without presenting.
