Job Title: Director of the BOK Economic Research Institute (Deputy Governor)
Since its establishment in 1950, the Bank of Korea (BOK) has served as Korea’s central bank, with a commitment to pursuing monetary stability and sound development of the Korean economy. The Economic Research Institute (ERI) of the Bank of Korea contributes to establishing and implementing monetary policies through provision of insightful and pioneering perspectives on current and future economic issues. The ERI also engages actively in cooperation and exchanges with other institutes.
The Bank of Korea is currently seeking to fill the post of Director of the ERI (Deputy Governor) in its headquarters office in Seoul, Korea.
( Principal Responsibilities )
■ Serve as Director of the ERI
■ Supervise ERI’s research on medium- to long-term policy tasks and research exchanges with other institutes at home and abroad
( Qualifications )
■ Ph.D. in Economics or the equivalent
■ At least 15 years of professional experience at domestic or foreign universities, research institutions, international organizations, etc.
■ Future-oriented vision and international mindset
■ Leadership and initiative
■ Full proficiency in Korean and English
■ Full eligibility under the BOK personnel management regulations
