The College of Economics at Sogang University, Korea, invites applications for two full-time postdoctoral researchers for the NRF-funded SSK Global Agenda project on renewable energy transition and long-run regional development (PIs: Hyunjoo Yang and Jaecheol Lee, Sogang; Jaeseok Yang, Chonnam National University; with collaborators at Stanford and UC Berkeley). Applicants should hold a PhD in economics or a related field (public policy, political science, geography, sociology, environment/energy) and have quantitative research experience. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in causal inference (DID, RD, IV), energy/environmental economics, or GIS and satellite data.
The salary starts at KRW 40 million per year, with a one-year contract renewable annually up to August 31, 2029.
