The Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) is a public research institute focused on agriculture and
rural development in Korea.
We are hiring two tenure-track research fellows in the following fields:
Agricultural Economics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Regional and Rural Development and
related fields.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Ph.D. in a relevant field, or expected completion by February 2027
– Ability to submit two letters of recommendation
– Preferred: Research experience in AI, machine learning, or related analytical methodologies

LOCATION:
601 Bitgaram-ro, Naju-si, Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City, 58321, Republic of Korea

START DATE:
Applicants must be eligible for appointment by September 30, 2026.
Ph.D. candidates may be appointed after official degree confirmation, but no later than February 28,
2027.
