2024 KIEP-KAEA Workshop, Sejong-si, June 13, 2024

Call for Papers: 2024 KIEP-KAEA Workshop, Sejong-si, June 13, 2024

Date: June 13, 2024

Venue: KIEP, Sejong-si, South Korea (In Person Only)

Submission Deadline: April 10, 2024

The 2024 Workshop jointly sponsored by Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA) and Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) will be held in person on June 13, 2024.

KAEA is soliciting high-quality research papers across all fields in economics while focusing on international trade, macro, finance, applied micro, environment, and development. KIEP will provide four presenters with the following: (i) roundtrip economy airfares; (ii) two-night hotel accommodation (check-in: June 12th and check-out: June 14th); and (iii) an honorarium of USD 500 each.

To be considered, a full manuscript should be submitted. Please declare your KAEA membership status with your submission. All submissions should be sent to the KAEA organizer, Sokbae Lee, by email at sokbaelee@outlook.com with “KIEP-KAEA Submission” in the subject line, no later than April 10th. Acceptance decisions will be made by May 2024. Only the authors of accepted papers will be notified by email.

You must be a KAEA lifetime member or have been an annual member for two years (2023 and 2024) to submit a manuscript. Your membership status will be reviewed before an acceptance decision is made and no exceptions will be made regarding the membership policy. If you want to become a member, please visit https://kaea.org/

Several calls for papers are currently available for KAEA members in June 2024. While you may submit your work to multiple events, it’s important to note that receiving funding beyond covering the actual expenses of visiting Korea for more than one event is highly unlikely.
