[Call for Papers] 2025 KATIS International Conference

The Korean Association of Trade and Industry Studies (KATIS) is pleased to announce the 2025 International Conference, scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Korean Security Agency of Trade and Industry (located at COEX, Seoul).

We cordially invite KAEA members to submit papers for presentation. The conference welcomes both theoretical and empirical contributions aligned with this year’s theme:

“Global Trade and the Evolving International Trading System Amid Rising Uncertainty.”

We are delighted to host the following distinguished keynote speakers:

• Robert Staiger (Dartmouth College)

• Kyle Bagwell (Stanford University)

• Bingjing Li (Hong Kong University)

To be considered for inclusion in the program, please submit your papers directly to Seunghoon Lee (seunghoonlee@yonsei.ac.kr) by Friday, May 9, 2025. Both full manuscripts and extended abstracts will be considered, but priority will be given to completed papers. Acceptance notifications will be sent by the end of May.

Submissions from World Congress participants are especially welcome as the KATIS conference coincides with World Congress week. To support presenters traveling from outside Korea, an honorarium of ₩700,000 will be provided to offset potential additional travel expenses.
