KAEA is soliciting high-quality research papers on public finance, monetary policy, macro-finance, financial/capital markets, banking, and financial regulation. To be considered, a full manuscript should be submitted. Please declare your KAEA membership status with your submission. All submissions should be sent to the KAEA organizer, Yoonseok Lee, by email at ylee.kaea@gmail.com with “KIF-KAEA-KAFA Submission” in the subject line, no later than May 11th, 2025. KIF will make the selection, and acceptance decisions will be made by May 2025.
In addition, one discussant is needed. If you are willing to discuss a paper, please indicate your willingness. The discussant will receive an honorarium of KRW 400,000 offered by KIF.
In your submission email, please include the following details:
- Your current membership status with the KAEA
- JEL codes (up to 3)
- Respond to the following question with “Yes” or “No”: “Are you willing to discuss a paper at the symposium when your paper is accepted?”
- Respond to the following question with “Yes” or “No”: “Are you willing to attend the symposium and discuss a paper at the symposium even if your paper is not accepted?”
Only the authors of accepted papers and the selected discussant will be notified by email.
To be eligible to submit a manuscript, (i) you must be a KAEA lifetime member or have been an annual member in both 2024 and 2025; and (ii) your primary affiliation is at an institution outside Korea. Your membership status will be reviewed before an acceptance decision is made and no exceptions will be made regarding the membership policy. If you want to become a member, please visit https://kaea.org/
Please note that multiple calls for papers are available for KAEA members in summer 2025. While submissions to multiple events are welcome, funding from more than one event is unlikely.
