Call for Papers: 2026 KREI-KAEA Conference, Seoul, June 19, 2026

KAEA is soliciting high-quality research papers on the theme of “AI Transformation and
Creative Economic Growth under the Geopolitical Shocks”. We welcome papers across all
applied microeconomics fields, including topics in agriculture, food, resources, climate change,
environments, population, and labor. KREI will provide roundtrip economy airfare for two
presenters.
Please submit your manuscript (preferred) or an extended abstract to Vice President Kyungmin
Kim by email at kaea.kkim@gmail.com, with the subject line “2026 KREI-KAEA Submission.” In
your submission email, please include the following:
- Title of the paper
- Author names, affiliations, and email addresses (indicate presenter)
- JEL codes
- Keywords
- Your membership status with the KAEA or the KEA
You must be (i) a KAEA lifetime member or have been an annual member for 2025 and 2026;
and (ii) primarily at an institution outside Korea. Your membership status will be verified before

Please note that multiple calls for papers are available for KAEA members in summer 2026.
While submissions to multiple events are welcome, funding from more than one event is
unlikely.
