Call for Papers (CERK)
Call for papers on Korean Economy
Dear Members of the Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA),
In May 2013, Center for Economic Research of Korea (CERK) was launched by the Faculty of Economics, SungKyunKwan University (SKKU) and Korea Economic Research Institute (KERI) to promote the research on Korean economy. CERK intends to increase the interaction and exchange of ideas among researchers working on various socio-economic issues in Korea and provide a platform in which viable solutions to the issues are discussed. More detailed objectives and activities of the Center can be found on CERK’s home page, http://cerk.skku.edu/.
As a part of this on-going effort to promote research in Korean economy, CERK now calls for research papers as follows.
- Research topics: Korean economy
- Financial support: KRW 5 million per research topic (if accepted by a SSCI Journal, an additional KRW 5 million will be granted)
- Number of research papers to be selected: five
- Submission deadline: February 15, 2014
Selected research papers will be included in the CERK Working Paper Series and the author is encouraged to present the paper at the CERK International Conference scheduled to be held on May 22, 2014 in Seoul, Korea. An acknowledgement of the CERK grant support, “This paper was supported by Center for Economic Research of Korea (CERK) by SungKyunKwan University (SKKU) and Korea Economic Research Institute (KERI)”, should be included in the acknowledgement part of the published paper.
The submission deadline is February 15, 2014. However, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their papers as early as possible as evaluation decisions are made on a rolling basis and the results are communicated back to the applicants in a prompt manner.
Any inquiries or submission of papers (in a pdf format) can be directed to cerk@skku.edu.
We welcome submissions from all who are interested.
