Call for Papers (KER International Conference)

The Korean Economic Review (KER) International Conference sponsored jointly by the Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA) and the Korean Economic Association (KEA) will be held as follows.

• Date: August 8-9, 2019
• Venue: Sogang University, Seoul, Korea
• Submission Deadline:  April 21, 2019 (in US EST)

The KAEA is soliciting a broad range of topics in economics and related areas. The KEA will provide financial support to each presenter of accepted papers to cover the travel expenses (partial or full) up to KRW 1,000,000 and hotel accommodation for three nights.

Please submit your completed paper with an abstract of 200-300 words, including the JEL codes, to Vice President Hyungsik Moon by e-mail at 2019kaea@gmail.com.  Extended abstracts will also be considered, but the submission with a completed paper will have a higher chance of acceptance. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the anonymous referees selected by the KAEA and the KEA. To be considered for inclusion in the conference program, all papers must be submitted by April 21. Acceptance decision should be made by May 10, and the authors will be notified by email. You must be a KAEA lifetime member or have been an annual member for the previous two years (2018 and 2019) to submit a manuscript. Your membership status will be reviewed before an acceptance decision is made and no exceptions will be made regarding the membership policy. Due to the expected high volume of submissions this year, priority will be given to young scholars and those who have not participated in the past two years.
