[Extended Deadline: Call for Papers] SEA in Houston, TX. November 21-23, 2026

Dear KAEA Members,

The 96th Annual Meeting of the Southern Economic Association (SEA) will be held on November 21-23, 2026 (Saturday-Monday) at the Marriott Marquis Houston in Houston, TX. The Korea-America Economic Association (KAEA) will organize three sessions for this meeting, and invites the members to submit papers. Theoretical and empirical papers on all aspects of economics are welcome.

Either a manuscript or an extended abstract can be submitted, including two JEL classification codes and your membership status with the KAEA. Papers may be in DRAFT form at the time of submission, though preference will be given to full paper submissions. All submissions should be sent to the KAEA session organizer, Min Seong Kim by email at kaea.mskim@gmail.com with “KAEA-SEA Submission” in the subject line of the email no later than Wednesday, April 1st. Acceptance will be notified by Wednesday, April 15th.

The final version of the accepted papers should be submitted by October 20th. Submissions from young scholars (junior faculty and Ph.D. students) are strongly encouraged. Submission fees ($35) will be waived as a part of KAEA sessions. However, all participants will be required to register for the conference and responsible for their own expenses.
