Call for Papers: 2025 ASSA Meetings, San Francisco, January 3-5, 2025

The 2025 ASSA meetings are scheduled to take place in San Francisco, CA, from January 3 to 5, 2025.

The Korea‐America Economic Association (KAEA) will organize three sessions at this conference, including one joint session with AEA. We invite members of KAEA or KEA to participate. Theoretical and empirical papers on all aspects of economics are welcome.

Please note that this call for papers pertains specifically to the ASSA sessions; a separate call for KAEA workshops, not included in the ASSA program, will be announced. For reference, you can explore last year’s program through the following link:

Please submit a manuscript or an extended abstract to 2024 Vice President Sokbae Lee by email: sokbaelee@outlook.com.

In your submission email, please include the following details:

(i) JEL codes and keywords;

(ii) Your membership status with the KAEA or the KEA;

(iii) Respond to the following question with “Yes” or “No”: “If not accepted for the ASSA sessions, should this paper be automatically submitted to the KAEA workshops?”

The submission deadline is Thursday, February 29, 2024. All submitted papers will undergo a review process by referees, and only the submitters of accepted papers will be notified. We strongly encourage all presenters and their coauthors participating in the conference to serve as discussants for the sessions.
