The Korean Association of Trade and Industry Studies

The Korean Association of Trade and Industry Studies (KATIS) is pleased to announce the 2024 International Conference, scheduled for July 3 (Wednesday) at Seoul National University.

We cordially invite KAEA members to submit papers for presentation at the conference. The conference welcomes theoretical and empirical papers on topics aligned with this year’s theme, “Global Value Chain and Spatial Economics”.

The keynote speakers will be:
Kei-Mu Yi (University of Houston & the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas)
Thomas Holmes (University of Minnesota)

To be considered for inclusion in the conference program, papers must be submitted to Seunghoon Lee (seunghoonlee@yonsei.ac.kr) no later than April 30 (Tuesday). We will notify you of the acceptance decision by early May. While both manuscripts and extended abstracts are acceptable, preference will be given to full paper submissions.

To support presenters from outside of Korea, we will provide an honorarium of one million Korean won to assist with travel expenses. Please feel free to contact us with any further inquiries.
