Full-Time Faculty Position (Tenure Track)

The Division of International Studies (DIS) at Korea University invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position (tenure track) in international development to contribute to our English-speaking faculty’s diverse portfolio of specializations. The appointment will be effective from March 1, 2012. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines: Economics, Business, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, Development Studies, or other closely related fields. Responsibilities include teaching both graduate and undergraduate students, conducting research, mentoring students, and organizing exchange programs for the Division.

– Results of a preliminary review will be announced on October 18, 2011 (Korean Standard Time). Successful candidates will then be asked to submit supporting documents and research papers.
– These supporting documents and research papers must be submitted by post or in person. All materials must arrive at the office of the Department of Academic Affairs by October 26, 2011. An address will be provided.
– Final round candidates will then be invited for a job talk and interview.
