Call for papers: 2025 KER International Conference

2025 KER International Conference, Seoul, August 17, 2025

The Korean Economic Association (KEA) invites submissions for the 26th Korean Economic Review (KER) International Conference, to be held in Seoul, South Korea, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, as a pre-conference to the Econometric Society World Congress.

The conference welcomes high-quality research papers from all areas of economics. Please submit either a full paper (preferred) or an extended abstract via the Google Form below by Friday, April 11, 2025. Extended abstracts should clearly outline the research question, methodology, expected results, and significance, and provide sufficient detail for reviewers to assess the research’s merits.

All papers must be written and presented in English. Selection results and the conference program will be announced on April 30, 2025. Submissions from junior scholars are strongly encouraged. For detailed call-for-paper information, please refer to the attached document.

There is no registration fee. Complimentary lunch and dinner will be provided. Limited financial support is available for KAEA members. To apply, select “Yes” for financial support on the submission form. Eligibility requires: (i) KAEA lifetime membership or annual membership for both 2024 and 2025; and (ii) primary affiliation with an institution outside Korea. Membership status will be verified prior to review. For KAEA membership information, please visit https://kaea.org/.

Please note that multiple calls for papers are available for KAEA members in summer 2025. While submissions to multiple events are welcome, funding from more than one event is unlikely.
